Drillers coaches are devoted to elevating each individual’s game. We will go through every option and use all resources at our disposal to help them reach their athletic potential and goals. In return, we ask that parents and players trust the process and keep a positive attitude. Learning to play baseball at a high level is an extensive process and it will have its highs and lows both physically and mentally. Players need to always believe in themselves and maintain adequate arousal levels emotionally in order to consistently reach their peak performance.

The Drillers organization is about development on and off the field. A lot of life lessons can be learned through the sport of baseball. It isn't always about the "W", but rather what it takes to get there. Drillers coaches place an emphasis on making our players aware of these keys to success that will help them far beyond their playing years.

"Winning isn't everything, but playing to win is!" COMPETE every pitch.

Brandon Mann

Coach Mann captained the 2002 Clarkstown North Rams to the only baseball state championship in Clarkstown’s history. As a result, he garnered 2002 New York State Player/Athlete of the year. Coach Brandon competed against the likes of MLB All-Stars Ryan Braun and Glen Perkins while at Florida Atlantic University before ending his college career at Lynn University in Boca Raton. While at Lynn University, Coach Brandon helped lead the Fighting Knights to their first ever regional appearance while leading the nation in double plays turned with 69. Coach Mann has 8 years of college coaching experience split between Iona College and Manhattanville College. In his first year coaching at MVILE, Coach Mann helped the Valiants lead the nation in stolen bases with 141 in 40 games.  Coach Mann spent 2015-2018 helping rebuild the Clarkstown South baseball program with Coach Amendola before helping lead them to their first ever Section 1 title in 2018 (only the second one in Clarkstown history besides 2002). In the fall of 2019, Coach Mann returned to the college ranks after being anointed the Assistant Head Coach at Manhattanville College.  He is co-owner of Pitch by Pitch Sports Camps in Congers, NY. He resides in New City with his wife Rachel, daughter Makenzie, and son Dylan.
